MEMORIES FROM THE NOVEMBER 2010 ISSUE OF TRI-V UMPH
It is hard to believe that another issue of the Umph with no new serious ailments to report in the TRI-V family. The closest reported incident was Ann Marie Angelosanto who was stung by a bee. Unfortunately she is allergic to bee stings but a prescription from the doctor saved a trip to the emergency room and she did recover. The Clingermans are in their new home in South Carolina with most of the boxes unpacked and are now ready to enjoy the area making a trip to TN for the National Storytelling Festival. The Lardin’s continue their frequent trips to TX this time spending the 14 thru the 18 of October in Corpus Christi to celebrate granddaughter’s sixth birthday. Upon their return Judy was to go to her mom’s in IL to help Mom out, going back there to celebrate Thanksgiving. Then back to TX the middle of December to celebrate grandson’s fourth birthday. Sue and Terry Dunham continue into the full retirement mode with Ter playing golf with the old timers on Wednesday and will play up to the week before Thanksgiving. Both are busy with the American Red Cross and Journey Church business. They have started a library at church and also sell books approved by the Pastor. Jeff Trachsel announced the engagement of his daughter, Andrea to Steve Novak and looking at a September 2011 wedding. The Fall Stag event was set for Nov. 13 at Snookers Pool-N-Pub, Livonia with a pool and dart tournament. TRI-V Wives Christmas dinner was set for Dec. 15 at Sophia’s Restaurant, Farmington Hills. They specialize in Greek and Italian foods and there is something for everyone. The Children’s Christmas part was set for Dec. 12 at F. B. Wright Co. located in Dearborn, MI. Pinochle3 standings after two months of play had Jane Trachsel in first place with 57 points, Robyn Mackson in second place with 53.5 points and George Hoffman in third place with 52 points.
