    Tri-V Golf League, 2025

Welcome back to the Tri-V golf league, 2025 edition!

Let’s take a moment to re-congratulate our 2024 league champion, Jerry Whitefoot! Now let’s take a moment to get ready to take him down this year! LOL!

As always, league fees are $30 per half, paid to Jay Trachsel. We will play 2 halves from 4/14 – 8/11 or 8/18. For those not wanting to participate in competition for the prestigious league championship, please feel free to come golf with us on an ad-hoc basis. We will continue to utilize a HDCP system of rolling average of 8 out of the last 10 best scores with double par max. For new players or players returning after 2+ years, we will re-establish your HDCP after 3 rounds. For those wishing to participate in championship competition and not having an established HDCP, we will retroactively apply points after a HDCP is established. 5 points will be awarded to the low net score, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, etc. The players with the high score after the 1st and 2nd half will advance to the playoffs joined by 2 wildcard players who have accrued the most overall points. Finally all 4 players will face off in the finals for the league championship.

Again as always, we will have side bets for skins and greenies available to all players and net HDCP available for players with an established HDCP. All side bets are a $2 entry fee ($6 for all 3) with greenie carryovers week to week.

Please feel free to join us for a burger and a beer after your round at the nearby VFW hall. We look forward to seeing all our returning players and welcoming some new players this year!

    Your committee,
    -Jay and Dave

The meeting tonight will be at Perfect Game Bowling Center at 6:30.
I know this is ideal for those bowling, however, maybe not for others in the club to attend. If there are any updates or things that you would like to have communicated, please let me know and we will get it out through the site or via e-mail.

    Winter has appeared

Hoping everyone had a nice and healthy Christmas and New Year. Here we are in January and the weather has finally hit us and it is cold. I trust that everyone is able to keep warm and safe during this weather. As for the club, I unfortunately did not make last month’s meeting due to being ill and have a conflict this month. Therefore, I do not have anything to report. I do know that dues are being collected and if you have not done so, please get them to Brian. I will have to catch up on the events and get back in touch with everyone soon.

PS: The meeting is tonight for those that can make it.
