    Presidents Message

All of Tri V was deeply saddened by the loss of Vicki Angelosanto. Vicki’s easy smile and wonderfully warm friendly personality will be missed by all of us. We all hold the Angelosanto family in our prayers.

The Tri V council party is set for February 15th at the Farmington Players barn with a dinner before the play ( the restaurant is to be determined). Be sure to get your tickets from the Farmington Players web site and let George Hoffman know you will be attending so he can arrange the dinner venue.
Marbles continues this month at the Kuhr’s and Steve Trachsel’s home good luck to all players.
Bill Trachsel is working on ideas for the March/April family event. If you have ideas for Bill please be sure to pass them along

    Presidents Message

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year celebration. Many of our members have either already left for warmer weather or plan to leave very soon and I hope you all have save travels and enjoy the warm weather. We will see you all again come spring. The rest of us will brave the cold and care on.
The winter calendar gets underway this month with the council party in January followed by the Family event ( Bill Trachsel/John Mackson) sometime between Feb and the end of March. We are still in the middle of our Marbles season good luck to everyone the rest of the way. The end of the Marbles season will be followed by the Final marbles party (Mike Trachsel/Ken Stress) which will end our winter calendar.
The TriV bowling team finished the 1st half of the season in first place with the younger Tri V team finishing in 4th. Congratulations to Tri V.

    Presidents Message

My cottage is closed for the season and Halloween has past so it must be time for snow. The November social was cancelled this week due to poor response. I know this time of year can get hectic but if we want to maintain a calendar of events please give feedback on any purposed ideas to help the committee plan. In the future if you attend a function or have an idea for event that you think Tri V members would enjoy please pass these ideas along to the appropriate committee for their consideration. The new marble rules seem to be working good although I did hear some griping about not getting any out cards for long stretches of time this past month. Up next is the Tri V Children’s party. Plans are underway and information will be given out at the November meeting. Watch for any updates via email or text.
    Everyone have a great Thanksgiving

    Presidents Message

Tri V was saddened by the news of the passing of Ken Plocharczyk’s brother in early September. Our prayers are with Ken and his family.
The start of the marbles season begins Saturday October 5th at John Lardin and Dave Burkes homes. There are a few rule changes which should help speed up the games and lower frustration. Good luck to everyone this season.
The stag party committee is looking into some interesting event ideas and we hope to hear about the October social event at the meeting on October 8th.
Coming up in December will be the children’s Christmas followed by the Council party the beginning of 2020.
Committee chairmen please get event information into the paper ASAP so people can make plans to attend.

    Presidents Message

The Tri V golf season ended August 12th, then the golf weekend in Jackson was on August 16th-18th followed by the Steak roast on August 24th (held at Jeff and Karen’s home) concluded the Tri V summer schedule. Its now time for back to school and the start of the Fall schedule. We kick off the Fall schedule with the September meeting at 6:00pm at the Perfect Score bowling alley. Please try to be on time as we will cover a number of events from the summer calendar. Committees remember to bring your event reports with copies for the officers. Fall event committees should be ready to talk about their upcoming events. After the meeting a number of members will begin the bowling season which we hope includes improved averages since the lanes are all new and our excuses have been taken away.

    Presidents Message

This summer seems to be flying by with August upon us and Labor day fast approaching. The Tri V picnic at the end of June had a good turnout and the weather was great. The kids had a great time and the games were a hit again. Great job by the committee.
The Tri V golf season is winding down with the second half lead and top 2 point getters for the season up for grabs by a number of golfers. The season championship playoff is scheduled for August 12th.
The golf weekend (August 16-18th) plans have been finalized and we will be at the Hankard Inn near Jackson this year. Please contact Mike Trachsel ASAP if you plan on coming.
The weekend after final golf the last event of the summer is the Steak roast at Jeff and Karen’s home on Saturday August 24th.
The first Tri V meeting will be at The Drakeshire bowling alley (now called The Perfect Game) on September 10th at 6:00pm. Please try to be on time because of the large agenda we need to cover.
This is a reminder to the committees of upcoming events September Stage (Dale & Steve) and November social (Jack & Ryan) to begin planning. If you’re not sure of what committees you are on please check the Tri V web site or contact George Hoffman.

    Presidents Message

Our many teachers and all the kids are now out of school for the year and the summer weather seems to finally be here, thought it would never warm up.
The Tri V picnic planning is done and all fingers are crossed for a sunny day at Rotary Park this Sunday. We hope everyone can make it to the picnic for this wonderful family event.
The first half of Tri V golf ended Monday June 17th and a late makeup round by Brian helped Bill Trachsel beat out Matt V by ½ point to win the half. The 2nd half got off to a slow start with only 6 golfers playing in the afternoon.
Mike Trachsel has set up the final golf weekend for August 16th,17th,18th at the Hankard Inn north east of Jackson. Final details will be coming out soon.
The weekend after (August 24th) final golf the club steak roast will take place at Jeff and Karen’s home.
Everyone have a great summer and stay safe on all vacation travels.

    Presidents Message

Reminder: on Saturday June 8th the memorial service for long time member Mark Elliott will be held. The information on the memorial is in the paper below.

Well the school year for the kids and our numerous teachers is quickly coming to an end and hopefully the weather will eventually reflect the calendar date. Despite all the rain Tri V golf has only been rained out 1 time as 1st half winds down. There are only 2 weeks left in the half and Matt V is leading Jeff by 1 point. The Tri V picnic is scheduled for June 30th at Rotary Park pavilion 3 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, I hope to see everyone there. From what I hear the golf weekend this year will be at the Hankard Inn near Jackson. Mike will be putting the details out shortly.

    Presidents Message

The Anniversary party was held at the Wixom VFW on Apri14th and on April 28th the final marbles/pinochle party was held at the Cadiux Café. This wraps up the winter event season and it is on to warm weather (hopefully) events. I want to thank all the committees involved marble/pinochle, the anniversary party and final marbles for the hard work and planning that went into these events
The summer schedule has begun with the Tri V golf season starting on April 15th followed by the May open house on May 18th. Then in June the Tri V picnic is scheduled for the 30that Rotary park.
On a sad note long time member Mark Elliott passed away on Easter Sunday April 21st. A memorial time has not been scheduled at this time. I know all of Tri V sends their thoughts and prayers to Marks family.
