The memorial service for Mark Elliott service will take place on Saturday June 8th at 11:00 am at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 West Long Lake Rd and Crooks). There will be a luncheon following the memorial at Picano’s restaurant at 3775 Rochester Rd Troy Mi.Jay Trachsel

Mark Elliott Memorial
John Lardin received a call from Sandy Elliott concerning a memorial service for Mark. The service will take place on Saturday June 8th at 11:00 am at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 West Long Lake Rd and Crooks). There will be a luncheon following the memorial at Picano’s restaurant at 3775 Rochester Rd Troy Mi. Sandy needs a count in early June for who will attend the luncheon and John has volunteered to gather the info and pass it on to Sandy. Please call John ASAP if you will be attending the luncheon.

Please be informed that Honorary member Mark Elliot passed away about 11:30 pm Eastern Evening after coming home from the Hospital on Friday. He will be cremated. No service is planned at present but my understanding is a memorial service will be conducted sometime in the future, Information TBD

We were sorry to hear that Terry (Dale) Horst’s mother Beverly Chartier passed away Sunday. The visitation will be held on Tuesday April 9th at the Heeny-Sundquist funeral home in Farmington Hills from 4-8pm. The Funeral mass will be held at the St. Gerald Catholic Church (21300 Farmington Rd) at 10am (in state 9:30am). The internment will follow immediately at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donation to the Parkinson’s foundation.

Cal Cashman called and informed me that Dennis Wutka an ex Tri V member passed away December 13th. Dennis was 83 and an ex Marine. He is at Phillips funeral home in South Lyon. Visitation is Wed Dec 19th from 2:00 until 8:00 and the funeral is Thursday December 20th 11:00am at St Joseph Catholic Church 830 S. Lafaydtte South Lyon

Tri V Council Party
If you have not responded to the council party article on whether you plan on attending the event please do so ASAP so reservations that are not refundable can be made.
Tri V 2019 Council Party
The council is looking at a return to Karls Cabin and dueling piano’s for the Council Party. The date will be Saturday January 19th 2019. For dinner and the show the price is $7.00 per person cover charge(depending on the number of people attending the entire cost of the cover charge will be covered by the event budget). if we have more then 25 people we will have a limited menu for under 25 the full menu is available. Everyone attending is responsible for their own meal. At this time I will need a count of who will be planning on attending to reserve our spot. Money needs to be payed at the time of the reservation with no refund so a hard count will be needed. Please check your calendar and let me know ASAP.
