JULY MEMORIES
MEMORIES FROM THE JULY 2006 ISSUE OF TRI-V UMPH
A check of my records did not show a TRI-V Umph being published in July 2006. At the time we were in the process of changing editors/publishers. Now would be the chance to sit in the warm evenings and try to remember special memories from that month.
MEMORIES FROM THE JULY 2011 ISSUE OF TRI-V UMPH
We are happy to report of no known members of the TRI-V Family being in ill health and in need of our prayers. On the bright side our congratulations go out to our President Matt VanHollebeke on his marriage to Kli in June and Onallee and Bill Trachsel who celebrated their 66 years of marriage on July 14th. New arrivals to the Trachsel Family include Delaney Jane who arrived on June 14th to Amber and Steve Trachsel. John Mackson was getting ready to start his first season as Head Coach of the University of Michigan-Dearborn Men’s Basketball Team after a successful five seasons at Taylor Kennedy High School, Taylor, and to Beverly Lardin who’s college she attended on a scholarship in Kansas City MO team was inducted into their College Hall of Fame, the first girls team to be so inducted.
All kinds of movement in the TRI-V Family with members and family coming and going. Judy Lardin after having cataract surgery on June 16th and followed again on June 30th made a trip with three days at Kalahari Water Park in Sandusky OH and on her return to IL to spend a week with her Mom. Karlyn and Tim Gies daughter Lisa Sponsky and kids made a trip the middle of June for a week visit with Mom and Dad then Karlyn and Tim spend the weekend of July 4th at Rainbow Lake to visit the Kathy and Art Dushary. Onallee Trachsel and the Gies will be visiting with Diane and Ken Plocharczyk and Art Trachsel the last weekend of July.
Congratulations were due to Dave Burke on his hole in one Monday at golf and perhaps an equally impressive quarter drip in the shot glass as the VFW after golf. Final Golf is set for the weekend of August 19th – 21st at Ray’s Retreat in Gaylord MI, the TRI-V annual Picnic on July 17th at Mettala Park, Wixom and the TRI-V Steak Roast on August 28th also at Mettala Park, Wixom.
This wraps up another trip down memory lane. Unfortunately not many memories to share but that is what is going to happen in our daily lives if we don’t take the time to share our current memories. I continue to ask your prayers for my current medical condition and this is one memory I will never forget going through. Until we see you next month in print, the Good Lord willing, take care of one another.
