  Golf League Updated 

  What a difference a week makes. The top golfers last week shot their worst or second worst round of the season. When does bowling start?

  We’re getting close to the end of the 1st half and only two golfers are mathematically eliminated (Nick & Bill). Realistically Chris, George, Dale, Shawn, Mike, Steve, and Gerry have a chance to win the 1st half as they are either leading or within 10 points of first. Don’t forget there are two wildcard spots for those who don’t win either half.

  Two errors were corrected: I did not include Jay’s & Bill’s dropped score. Also, Chris dropped a score this week.

  Golf League Updated 

  Things just got real. I shot the best round ever at Hickory and was able to also win low net, but only by 1 stroke. Steve also shot a great score, as well as George. This make the standings get interesting, with 2 tied for 2nd place with 15 pts and Lew close behind in 4th with 14. Gerry still holds a strong lead at 19.5 pts even though he didn’t golf this week. He’ll have a challenge ahead though as he dropped a score last week which lowered his HDCP by 4 strokes.

  Nick, Bill, and Jay all dropped a score this week (in the money) as well as Dan and Call (not in the money). Chris is due to drop a score with his next round.

  The points are finally finalized. If there are any issues found, please let me know.

  Golf League Updated 

  It was a sandbagger’s paradise this week, with Dale, Gerry, and Steve cleaning up with their heavy handicaps and low scores this week. I tried to join in on the fun but was out-sanbagged by the pros. Too bad though because we drop a score and several handicaps have fell significantly.

  Anyway, another great turnout and great competition. Gerry has a strong lead but might slow down a bit after dropping 4 strokes this week. There also were a lot of skins and low net was very competitiative.

  Again, the points are pretty close to what they should be. Once Chris gets his 3rd round in, points will be final. Also note 12 golfers dropped a score this week after their 4th round.

  Golf League Updated 

  Another typical Monday. Rain all morning and overcast in the afternoon, but dry enough to golf. You can thank the committee later. The greens and fairways didn’t have much roll due to the wet conditions. Don’t expect that later in the summer. It only takes a few dry days to change the greens from damp to rock hard.

  So far it looks like we’ll have some great competition this year, with a couple groupings at the top. Nobody is really out of it as up to 8 points are up for grabs each week.

  At this time, the points are pretty close to what they should be. Once Chris gets his 3rd round in, points will be final. Also note many golfers will be dropping a score next week if it’s their 4th round.

  Golf League Updated 

  Another week and another good day weather wise. Hopefully we can keep it up and avoid this rain. As of this morning, it’s not looking great but we’ll see.

  Great to see so many golfers this season. I think it’ll make for a nice competition! Nate finally finished moving his refrigerator, and came out to golf and win all the money this week. Nice round Nate! I think I should start carrying around a fridge, it must help your golf game.

  Please note the flight configuration and points are subject to change at this point and will be solidified when we know who all is planning to golf this year. Also, please get your money in to Jay ASAP. The cost is the same as ever, $30 per half.

  Golf League Updated 

  Welcome back to Tri-V golf, 2016 edition! What a great way to start the season, weather-wise. I hope it also was good for you golf-wise, even though it wasn’t for me. Oh well, first time for the season.

  I noticed some people picked up where they left off last year like Nick and Jay who shot well in the first week. I especially noticed Jack’s score, who would have won low net had he gotten in. However, I don’t think it would have counted with those replaced knees… is that legal?

  Please note the flight configuration and points are subject to change at this point and will be solidified when we know who all is planning to golf this year. Also, please get your money in to Jay ASAP. The cost is the same as ever, $30 per half.

  Golf League Updated 

  Today is the final final round of Tri-V golf, 2015. Congratulations to A flight winner, Mike Trachsel and B flight winner, Nick Angelosanto!

  This week is just for fun/warm up for the weekend. We’re planning to do an extra side bet ($4) where you will be teamed up with a random partner for a team low net. Basically we’ll add the net of you plus your partner and whoever is lowest wins the pot. We may pay 2 places depending on who is interested.

  Also please note there were no skins won so if you didn’t get in on skins last week, you owe $4 if you want in. Hole 3 greenie also has a carryover so if you weren’t in that one last week you owe $3 total to get in.

  Thanks everyone for a great season and I hope to see you at final golf in less than a couple weeks. As always, please let Jay or I know if you have any suggestions about how to improve our league.

  Golf League Updated 

  Today is the final round of Tri-V golf, 2015. Due to my mistake in scoring, A-flight was closer than originally thought, but it turns out it didn’t matter. George was bailed out of his mediocre round by even crappier golfing by Jay (who actually had to chance to win 2nd half), Eric (collusion???), and Mike (no-show? really???). The improbable result puts George in 1st place for the 2nd half win by 0.5 points over Jeff. In B-flight, there really was no contest as Dale ran away with the 2nd half. Dale has led B-flight since week 12, almost going wire to wire for the win. Therefore In A-flight George will face off against Mike, and Dale will take on both Steve and Nick (sounds hot) in B-flight. Good luck to all the 1st & 2nd half winners.

  Brian, Jay, Steve, Matt, Bill, and Nick dropped a score last week. George, Nate, Romas, and Mackson will drop a score with their next round.

  Thanks everyone for a great season and I hope to see you at final golf in less than a couple weeks. As always, please let Jay or I know if you have any suggestions about how to improve our league.

  Golf League Updated 

  Today is the last day of the 2nd half. A-flight is pretty much wrapped up, unless George blows it. Currently he’s up by 4 points with Jay, Jeff, and Mike all tied for 2nd. In B-flight the story is almost the same, with Dale in the lead over Steve by 4 and Nick by 5. Dont blow it Dale!

  Last week’s side bets brought in some nice jackpots. Jay won hole #3, which had a carryover and Mike was the big winner by winning the only skin in two weeks. Nice job Jay and Mike! I’m glad the skin was won on a birdie at least. If Steve would have had his buddy Shawn get in on skins, it would have been 2 weeks in a row of carryover. By the way, do a shot.

  Lew dropped a score last week. Brian, Jay, Mike, Nick, Steve, Matt & Mackson will drop a score with their next round.

  Golf League Updated 

  A flight and B flight both have close races going with two weeks to go in the second half. In A flight, one point separates three golfers from first place, with Jay, George, and Jeff in first, second, and third, respectively. Mike isn’t too far back in 4th, only three points down for a first/second half sweep. B flight is realisticly within grasp of the top four of Dale, Nick, Lew, and Steve. Only three points between those four.

  Nobody won any skins last week, so we will carry over from last week. This means new skin participants must pay an extra $2.

  Dale, Jeff, and Dave (me) dropped a score last week. Mackson (if he ever comes back), Lew, and Brian will drop a score with their next round played.
