2024 Tri V Steak Roast
The Tri V steak roast was held on August 24th at Karen Trachsel Thrift’s home. We had 20 people in attendance. The swimming pool was available at 1:00 and with the warm weather it felt great to be in the water. Around 4:30 Dale started the grill and cooked the steaks while some of the wives got the corn ready. We had steaks, corn on the cob and salad with ice cream for dessert. People stayed for a few hours after dinner enjoying the weather and company. We would like to thank Karen for allowing us to use her home again for the steak roast. I would like to also thank everyone who jumped in to help with the shopping, planning and cooking.
Committee: Jay and Brian Trachsel
The Tri V golf season ended August 12th with Jerry Whitefoot beating Bill Trachsel, Dave Burke and Mike Lewandowski. Congratulations To Jerry and all the league finalists.
Tri V Picnic 2024
The Tri V picnic will be held on July 21st at Rotary Park pavilion #3 in Livonia. Everyone should bring a dish to pass and their own plates, silverware and drinks for your family (We do have an alcohol permit).
We will eat around 1:00 so try to be there by 12:30 or so. As always there will be games for the kids and a few for adults after we eat. If you would like to bring your own lawn chairs for comfort please do so.
There will be a small charge per couple to offset expenses.
If anyone has any kid game ideas please let us know.
There was a minor hurricane in June that damages the main pavilion so I’m not sure if the bathrooms will be opened up yet. There are porta potties across from our pavilion.
Committee : Jay T , Matt Hoffman, Steve Trachsel

We will once again be doing the Stag Event at Great Shots Backyard Bar and Games in Clinton Township. The event will be on Sunday, November 12th from 4-6 PM. We did not opt for the private room this year, instead we will be renting cornhole lanes in the main room. Food and beverages will be on your own. In case you were not able to go last year, Great Shots is an indoor cornhole centered sports bar. It is a great place to throw some bags, watch a game, and have a drink or two. If you can join us for an evening of fun, sign up at the October meeting or let one of the committee members know. Cost per person will be around $10 not including food or drinks.
