September Meeting tonight at Perfect Game.
Reminder:
Meeting tonight, looking forward to seeing everyone.
Hope everyone has had a great summer. Well, fall is here and so are Tri-V meetings. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. Hope to see you next week.
Just a FYI, Peggy Hoffman will be home after a small stint away working on some mobility. Feel free to reach out to her at 248-349-3702.
As I sit here at our new church on a Thursday morning enjoying a beverage and donuts I find myself thinking about our Tri-V family. We miss you all and meeting at the events.
We have been blessed with our move to Arizona and are finding wonderful people to associate with even with Covid, but it also comes with challenges. The job that brought us out here did not work out when Covid changed the industry, therefore I am looking for work. However, we are doing well and the kids are in soccer for the first time and really enjoying it.
I will state that I do not really miss the weather. It is hard to discuss it with people as it is pretty much perfect here (hot this summer) but getting better there. I am not the best at keeping in touch with everyone, but will try to keep posting here.
Potentially exciting news (more exciting for some little ones) is that we have adopted a new member of the family. Evee, (parakeet) was brought to us in a large cup by our neighbor who saved her in a parking lot a few weeks ago. His words is seeing ours he knew we were the right people for her. So, I no longer talk to my neighbor (Joke).
Just visited by my parents and had a great visit. Have now started to really claim the house by putting holes in the walls. Moving is a much larger task than anyone thinks, and by the way we all have too much stuff, really.
Blessing to you all,
Matt Hoffman
Tri-V family,
Sorry I missed the newsletter deadline, however, time is just flying by for me out here in Arizona. After way too long (a bit over 3 months), I now have an immediate complete family unit in our home (Matt, Christine, Timothy, Abigail, Kensi and Loki) here in Buckeye, AZ.
Our address is 25408 West Yanez Avenue, Buckeye, AZ 85326.
I have had visitors (In-laws) when they drove down with Christine and are expecting all my side of the family this next week. It is and will be great to be able to connect with everyone.
I get mostly the media view of things happening there in Michigan and I pray for all of you as it sounds like things there have been really rough. We are getting some news here now (uptick), but overall life here has been pretty normal through all this.
I know that Christine has been great with posts on Facebook so that is the best place to see anything in regards to us. I am not the outgoing one in regards to all that. I have found some golf courses that will be too expensive for me to play as there will be no going and getting my slices off the fairway, however, if anyone makes it out, be happy to find time to socialize and play a round.
Miss you all and looking forward to keeping in touch through Fantasy football and hearing all the great stories of things going on. Please keep posting here and/or facebook and we will do the same.

As most of you know, I have been out of work for a little while. It has been an interesting time accepting being out of work and looking for what God has in store for me and my family. Well, as of today, this has changed. I am excited and happy to have received an offer from Hydro Aluminum Extrusion that I am accepting. This is a great opportunity and an answer to prayer in many ways. It will not only change my work career, but will have an impact on my social calendar as well. This is because the position is in Phoenix, AZ.
We are going to be moving to Phoenix, AZ!!!!
We are happy, sad, fearful, and optimistic for what God has in store for us.
I will starting in the middle of March and then Christine and the kids will be moving down after the end of the school year. I hope to be able to see most of you in the next couple of weeks, but if not, I want to let you know that we are not leaving Tri-V. I am just going on an extended assignment to find better weather and courses for final golf.
I will be in touch as always, but this change has given me time to think about things that are important to me. Tri-V is absolutely one of these things. The relationships we have here are something special and are not taken for granted. I will more than likely be working around the house purging things not to be packed for the move for the next couple of weeks. I really just want to say thank you and let you know that Tri-V is growing geographically.
