Tri V Steak Roast 2024
The Tri V Steak Roast will be held on August 24th at the home of Karen Thrift Trachsel at 5262 Parview Drive Clarkston 48346. The pool will be open any time after 1:00pm with dinner around 4:30. Bring your own plates, utensils, napkins and drinks. Hope to see everyone there.
Please contact Brian or Jay if you are planning to attend no later than August 17th so the steaks can be purchased.
Tri V Picnic 2024
The Tri V picnic was held on July 21st at Rotary Park pavilion #3 in Livonia. We had 24 adults and 13 kids in attendance. Everyone brought a dish to pass and we ate around 1:30. The kid’s games started shortly after lunch with Steve running and demonstrating the gams which provided a lot of humor to the games. The budget was $175 and we spent $115 for the park rental $60 on game supplies and prize money for a total of $175. It was a great day with very nice but hot weather.

The Tri V golf season is coming to a close next week with the last day of golf for the championship is on Monday 8/12 and the final golf weekend going from 8/16 to 8/18. The winner of the first half was Bill T and the second half winner was Mike Lewandowski. They will be playing with the 2 wild card winners Dave B and Jerry Whitefoot for the season championship. The Tri V picnic will be held on July 21st at Rotary Park pavilion #3 in Livonia. Everyone should bring a dish to pass and their own plates, silverware and drinks for your family (We do have an alcohol permit).
We will eat around 1:00 so try to be there by 12:30 or so. As always there will be games for the kids and a few for adults after we eat. If you would like to bring your own lawn chairs for comfort please do so.
There will be a small charge per couple to offset expenses.
If anyone has any kid game ideas please let us know.
There was a minor hurricane in June that damages the main pavilion so I’m not sure if the bathrooms will be opened up yet. There are porta potties across from our pavilion.

REMINDER –
The Tri V golf season begins This Monday (4-15) at 4:30 pm. The prize money is $30 per half. You should plan to leave early to the course because we have heard there is construction at Loon Lake and Bernstein Rd. You will need to take Wixom to Loon Lake and come in from that direction. Let me know if possible if your going to be late or not golfing.

Tri V meeting reminder
The Tri V March 12th meeting will feature election of officers. Currently we have volunteers for all 4 offices. If there is anyone else who would like to volunteer for any office, please let Nick. We will also be electing 2 members to the council. Please try to attend.
Tri V Council Party 2024
The Tri V council party was held on Sunday Feb 4th from 3:00 to 5:00 at the Cadeuix café. There were 21 people in attendance.
We had 3 teams of 5 people and 1 team of 6 people for feather bowling . We had 2 feather bowling lanes for 2 hours. Two lanes for 2 hours cost $200 with a $100 budget. We collected $5 per with person to cover the cost of the 2nd hour and $5 per person for a prize money side bet. The payout was 1st place $8/person,
2nd place $6 /person, 3rd $4/person and 4th received $3/person.
The winning team was Liz T, Mike T, Kristin T, Michelle T and Dave B.
Afterward we went a few miles down the road to Atwater on the Park for dinner. The group had a good time with feather bowling and the dinner although a little slow was very good. I think everyone had a good time.
