MEMORIES FROM THE APRIL 2006 TRI-V UMPH
Our prayers this month are needed for several TRI-V Members and the extended family for accidents they suffered. First to Belinda Bliudzius, wife of Romas, on the passing of her Mother in CA. Next was Dave Ruetenik who fell and suffered slight concussion. This was followed a week later by again falling on a large glass vase and suffered many cuts and abrasions of which needed eight stitches on his cheek. Unfortunately the glass was also in the eye he lost the sight in the eye. Earl Tishler slipped on the ice hitting his head and the cut required stitches. Art Trachsel passed out in his kitchen while getting supper and test showed an irregular heartbeat. Mike Lardin was involved in an auto accident the end of March and though he was not injured, his “baby” Red Mustang was totaled and he is now driving a 2006 blacl Mustang GT. On the bright side Ann Marie and Dion Angelosanto welcomed the arrival of Isabella on March 20th.
Shirley and Bill Suchner are taking the auto train from Stanford FL to Lorton VA on their return to MI from FL. This will save them one night stay for the trip and they will stop and see Peg and Bob Wendt on the way for two nights. Dorothy and Ray Suchnere will be leaving FL for MI on April 28 and stop in Westland on the way to Interlochn MI to visit their grandson, Tony, and the new great-granddaughter. Judy and John Lardin continue to use their flight benefits with a trip to Las Vegas to help celebrate Judy’s sister-in-law and brother-in-laws 40th wedding anniversary followed by a trip to Illinois to visit Judy’s Mom and that followed by a trip by John to visit Kim and Larry in San Antonio TX. MEMORIES FROM THE APRIL 2011 TRI-V UMPH

The 74th TRI-V Anniversary Party was held in a very untraditional way. 30 Club members went to Northville Downs for a fun filled evening of food, company and betting. This change was necessary because of the closing of Hawthorne Valley Theatre.

Have you noticed how each month we read the names of our “loved” ones who are no longer with us? As you read the names take the time to think of some special memory you can associate with them and share that memory with fellow Club Members. Though they are gone they are part of the foundation the Club continues to exist on. We have a late Easter this year (2011). Can you think back to some Easter that was also this late in the season? I can remember one going to “Monkey Wards” on Grand River and Greenfield to shop for Easter Clothes with the sun shining brightly and all coatless. Considering all it was a good time and memories with family and friends. This raps up another trip down memory lane. Please continue to share your memories with family and friends. Don’t let them get lost. Until we see you in print next month, the Good Lord willing, take care of one another.
