Four scores and two minutes ago, it came to my attention that many of our club will embark on Final Golf weekend. Wish you all great day’s golfing and bug free nights throwing bags. I will not be joining this year but wish you well. Steak Roast is also right around the corner, hope we all can get together and fellowship at this time. Back to school for those of us with children of age or might even be teacher. Big changes from the summertime activities. May it be smooth for everyone. Next meeting will be in September. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Tri V Steak Roast 2024
The Tri V Steak Roast will be held on August 24th at the home of Karen Thrift Trachsel at 5262 Parview Drive Clarkston 48346. The pool will be open any time after 1:00pm with dinner around 4:30. Bring your own plates, utensils, napkins and drinks. Hope to see everyone there.
Please contact Brian or Jay if you are planning to attend no later than August 17th so the steaks can be purchased. -

Tri V Picnic 2024
The Tri V picnic was held on July 21st at Rotary Park pavilion #3 in Livonia. We had 24 adults and 13 kids in attendance. Everyone brought a dish to pass and we ate around 1:30. The kid’s games started shortly after lunch with Steve running and demonstrating the gams which provided a lot of humor to the games. The budget was $175 and we spent $115 for the park rental $60 on game supplies and prize money for a total of $175. It was a great day with very nice but hot weather.

The Tri V golf season is coming to…
The Tri V golf season is coming to a close next week with the last day of golf for the championship is on Monday 8/12 and the final golf weekend going from 8/16 to 8/18. The winner of the first half was Bill T and the second half winner was Mike Lewandowski. They will be playing with the 2 wild card winners Dave B and Jerry Whitefoot for the season championship. REMINDER THIS SUNDAY
Tri V Picnic 2024
The Tri V picnic will be held on July 21st at Rotary Park pavilion #3 in Livonia. Everyone should bring a dish to pass and their own plates, silverware and drinks for your family (We do have an alcohol permit).
We will eat around 1:00 so try to be there by 12:30 or so. As always there will be games for the kids and a few for adults after we eat. If you would like to bring your own lawn chairs for comfort please do so.
There will be a small charge per couple to offset expenses.
If anyone has any kid game ideas please let us know.
There was a minor hurricane in June that damages the main pavilion so I’m not sure if the bathrooms will be opened up yet. There are porta potties across from our pavilion.

President’s Message
Summer time is always so busy for our Tri-V family. Here I am as a newly elected officer adn realizing thanks to the push notification of the paper, that I have already begun my reign of failure by not getting the President’s Message out there on-time.
I will work to improve this. Upcoming event is the Picnic this weekend. Hope to see many of you there. We will be Rotary Park pavilion #3 in Livonia. There is going to be some water activities planned so you may want to have spare clothes for the kids.
Everyone please work to enjoy your summer, I have seen some great photos from many of our members and their vacations. Glad to see we are all out and about. Wishing everyone health, hapiness and adventure.

George Hoffman fell on Friday the 12th of July and has been taken to the hospital. He is at Ascension in Novi off Grand River. He is healing, but is going to be under observation for a while still.
