I have checked on feather bowling at the Bath City Bistro in Mt Clemens. The lanes for weekends are $40 per hour. The 2 dates I have checked on are Oct 16th and Oct 23rd. On the 16th they have an open lane from 6 to 11pm. on the 23rd they have 4 to 6 and 8 to11available we can get 1hour, an hour and a half or 2 hours depending on what we want. I need to know who is interested and which date and time works for the most people. PLEASE RESPOND IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND WHICH DATES AND TIMES ARE BEST FOR YOU BY SOME TIME TOMORROW. IF I DO NOT HEAR FROM ENOUGH PEOPLE I WILL NOT PURSUE ANY RESERVATIONS. THANKS JAY
I would like to know how many people would like to go feather bowling as a stag event. I will try to get lanes for sometime this month if enough people are interested. Please text or email Jay if your are interested. Also I’m wondering if members with kids would like to arrange a family event at a corn maze if anyone knows of one near them. Thanks Jay Trachsel
Next Meeting, October 12, at the bowling alley. 6:15. Will most likely be short.
Presidents Message
We will have a Tri V club meeting on September 14th at the bowling alley beginning at 6:15pm. We need to discuss the calendar of events for the remainder of this year and next year. We will also discuss whether or not to changes the yearly dues. George has sent out a purposed calendar of events and dues as a discussion guide. Please plan on attending and try to be on time so we can get through everything. If a change of the site of the meeting is needed I will send out a notice.
President Jay Trachsel
Tri V picnic
The Tri V picnic was held at Rotary Park in Livonia on July 18th .
We had 26 adults and 11 kids in attendance. We went back to our normal format with families bringing a dish to share. We again had great weather and a good time catching up with people we haven’t seen recently do to restrictions. We had lunch around 1:30 then the kids ran around for a while until the games were arranged. Our prize money budget was $36 and due to the large age difference and the low number of kids we only had 2 individual games and the rest were team games. As normal the water balloon games where the most popular with plenty of busted balloons to cool the kids and a few adults off. Winning team members each got $2 dollars Team 2 (Joey, Alyssa, Anthony and Abel ) won twice for $4 per member and team 1 (Dominic, Julia, Maddie and Piper) won one game for $2 each. The teams of Julia/Bill and Alyssa/Jack tied for the balloon toss. Each kid got $2 the adults got congratulations. The individual sack race and shoe scramble winners each got $2 and any child how participated but didn’t win got $2 for a total of $36 paid out. There was candy for the kids to take which cost $14 combined with the $100 pavilion rental totaled $150 which was the event budget.
