    Golf League Updated 

    Today is the final round of Tri-V golf, 2015. Due to my mistake in scoring, A-flight was closer than originally thought, but it turns out it didn’t matter. George was bailed out of his mediocre round by even crappier golfing by Jay (who actually had to chance to win 2nd half), Eric (collusion???), and Mike (no-show? really???). The improbable result puts George in 1st place for the 2nd half win by 0.5 points over Jeff. In B-flight, there really was no contest as Dale ran away with the 2nd half. Dale has led B-flight since week 12, almost going wire to wire for the win. Therefore In A-flight George will face off against Mike, and Dale will take on both Steve and Nick (sounds hot) in B-flight. Good luck to all the 1st & 2nd half winners.

    Brian, Jay, Steve, Matt, Bill, and Nick dropped a score last week. George, Nate, Romas, and Mackson will drop a score with their next round.

    Thanks everyone for a great season and I hope to see you at final golf in less than a couple weeks. As always, please let Jay or I know if you have any suggestions about how to improve our league.

    Golf League Updated 

    Today is the last day of the 2nd half. A-flight is pretty much wrapped up, unless George blows it. Currently he’s up by 4 points with Jay, Jeff, and Mike all tied for 2nd. In B-flight the story is almost the same, with Dale in the lead over Steve by 4 and Nick by 5. Dont blow it Dale!

    Last week’s side bets brought in some nice jackpots. Jay won hole #3, which had a carryover and Mike was the big winner by winning the only skin in two weeks. Nice job Jay and Mike! I’m glad the skin was won on a birdie at least. If Steve would have had his buddy Shawn get in on skins, it would have been 2 weeks in a row of carryover. By the way, do a shot.

    Lew dropped a score last week. Brian, Jay, Mike, Nick, Steve, Matt & Mackson will drop a score with their next round.

    Golf League Updated 

    A flight and B flight both have close races going with two weeks to go in the second half. In A flight, one point separates three golfers from first place, with Jay, George, and Jeff in first, second, and third, respectively. Mike isn’t too far back in 4th, only three points down for a first/second half sweep. B flight is realisticly within grasp of the top four of Dale, Nick, Lew, and Steve. Only three points between those four.

    Nobody won any skins last week, so we will carry over from last week. This means new skin participants must pay an extra $2.

    Dale, Jeff, and Dave (me) dropped a score last week. Mackson (if he ever comes back), Lew, and Brian will drop a score with their next round played.

    Golf League Updated 

    This week’s score sheet looks a little different than usual, as I’m including the results of the last two weeks since I (and 2/3 of the league) was on vacation last week. I’m not sure what the status of side bets were to report on, so hopefully Jay was able to pay it all out correctly. Please double check it and let me know if you have any questions.

    The main areas to note are Eric and George have official averages & handicaps and 6 golfers dropped a score in week 12 (Eric, George, Jay, Mike T., Nick, and Steve).

    This week is week 6 of the 2nd half, so there are only 3 weeks to go. B flight is a tight race with Dale leading, but Steve and Nick only 2 and 4 points back, respectively. Lew isn’t out of it either, at 6 points back. Although Jeff has the lead in A flight, nobody is out of it, with everybody within 6 1/2 points.

    Golf League Updated 

    For the 2nd week in a row, rain threatened but did not cause us to cancel. There was a slight delay, but we still played with no issues except for some standing water.

    In A flight, Jeff has come out to a hot start as his early season sandbagging is paying off. However after dropping a score, his average dropped by almost 2 strokes to a 6.3. Although Jeff jumped out to an early lead, Jay is close behind, only 3 points back. In B flight things are a little tighter, with everyone within 3 points of each other. Steve and Nick, the first half winners, currently are tied for the lead with 6 points each.

    FYI: Mike L. will drop a score with his next round. Jeff T. and Dale dropped a score last week.

    Golf League Updated 

    The 2nd half started out with a “bang”, as only 5 golfers were in attendance during the regular start time. I guess everyone else is too sweet to get melted in the rain. Anyway, the day turned out to be very nice as we only felt a light sprinkle a few times. Doesn’t everyone know that it doesn’t rain on Mondays at 4:30???

    FYI: Dale, Mike L., and Jeff will drop a score with their next round. Dave (me) dropped a score last week.

    Golf League Updated 

    Congratulations to the A flight winner, Mike Trachsel and B flight winners Steve Trachsel and Nick Angelosanto. In A flight, Mike made a miracle comeback with a birdie on 9 to win by one half of a point. From another perspective, one might say Jay blew it with a double bogey on 9. You decide. In B flight, Nick completed the comback of being 6.5 points down 3 weeks ago to come into a tie with Steve, who had been floundering. Steve manages to maintain the 2nd half win, along with Nick, at 21.5 points each.

    5 golfers dropped a score last week, including Jay, Mike T., Nick, John L., and Steve. Dave (me), Dale, and Mike L. will drop a score with their next round.

    Again, I don’t have the greenie carryover status, but it looks like 3 has a long carryover (3+ wks) and 7 carried over last week. Jay will have that information on the course

    Golf League Updated 

    Greetings from Nashville! It’s the last week of the 1st half, and it’s not locked up yet! There is still a chance for John Lardin to catch Steve at 2 points back and Mike T. and Jay are separated by only 0.5 points! Hopefully it’s an exiting finish and let the best golfer win!

    (Sorry I didn’t write down the greenie winners & carryover status. Jay will have that information on the course)

    Golf League Updated 

    With only 2 weeks left, A-flight is looking like a 2, or hopefully for me, 3 man battle down the stretch with Mike T. leading the way. Jay is close behind, back only 1 point, and I’m hoping to gain more ground this week at 3 points back.

    In B-flight, Steve looks to run away with the 1st half win, up 5.5 points with 2 weeks to go. Unless Steve chokes and Nick and John L. pull off a miracle, he seems to have the 1st half wrapped up. Don’t blow it Steve!

    Jeff and Brian dropped a score last week. Geoff will drop a score this week if he ever comes back to golf with us.
