    Tri V picnic

The Tri V picnic was held at Rotary Park in Livonia on July 18th .
We had 26 adults and 11 kids in attendance. We went back to our normal format with families bringing a dish to share. We again had great weather and a good time catching up with people we haven’t seen recently do to restrictions. We had lunch around 1:30 then the kids ran around for a while until the games were arranged. Our prize money budget was $36 and due to the large age difference and the low number of kids we only had 2 individual games and the rest were team games. As normal the water balloon games where the most popular with plenty of busted balloons to cool the kids and a few adults off. Winning team members each got $2 dollars Team 2 (Joey, Alyssa, Anthony and Abel ) won twice for $4 per member and team 1 (Dominic, Julia, Maddie and Piper) won one game for $2 each. The teams of Julia/Bill and Alyssa/Jack tied for the balloon toss. Each kid got $2 the adults got congratulations. The individual sack race and shoe scramble winners each got $2 and any child how participated but didn’t win got $2 for a total of $36 paid out. There was candy for the kids to take which cost $14 combined with the $100 pavilion rental totaled $150 which was the event budget.

    Tri V July Picnic
The July picnic took place on July 26th at Rotary Park in Livonia. We had a total of 28 people in attendance with 19 adults and 9 kids. With this summer being what it is due to the virus each family brought their own food. Masks and social distancing was practiced but it was still good to see and catch up with everyone. The weather was very warm but with a cool breeze and some shade it was very comfortable. There were no organized games but we had water balloons and squirt guns for the kids and they had a great time. Later the older kids played a few games of volleyball.
The committee supplied the balloons, squirt guns, chips and gummie fruit snacks.
