This ends up 2020 and starts 2021 December…

This ends up 2020 and starts 2021. December was a busy crowded for all of us. With Christmas and Thanksgiving and New Years it made setting up John’s chemo appointments a little rough but did get them all in. Now the packing for Florida. By the time you read this we will be in Ft. Myers enjoying some warm weather. We are fortunate this year that little brother Nick volunteered to drive our car to Florida and we get to fly down. Nick left Christmas Day and arrived in Ft. Myers on Sunday the 27th. We will be arriving in Ft. Myers hopefully on Tue, the 28th or Wed. the 29th. A little excitement we did have that Bev, Mike’ wife, was rushed to the hospital that ended up being a case of vertebra and after three days in the hospital has recovered. Chemo is all set with the Dr. in Florida and hopefully things will continue. I might be repeating myself but my last cat scan had the tumor in the liver after a year going from 3.9 by 3.9svto3.0 by 02.7 mg. All good news. Until we share our thoughts next month continue to pray for all as THEY DO WORK.

MEMORIES FROM THE JANUARY 2011 TRI V UMPH…

MEMORIES FROM THE JANUARY 2011 TRI-V UMPH
We ask you to remember in your prayers Mildred Hoch, mother of Judy Lardin, as she continues to struggle with breathing problems and is limited to what she does. Judy and John left for Ft. Myers FL on Jan. 5 for three months and tried to convince Millie to join them for a month but she said “it would not be fair to you guys” and they were unable to convince her. Judy thinks she does not want to be away from her doctors in IL. The Tri-V Children’s Christmas Party was held on Dec. 12 at Nick Angelosanto’s place of business in Dearborn. There were 13 children and 21 adults in attendance and all enjoyed the special visit by Santa Claus (Bob Kuhr). Cal and Jan Cashman hosted Jan. Pinochle with Robyn Mackson coming in first place with 28 points and Mike Trachsel and Romas Bliudzius tied for second place with 26 points. Anne Marie and Dion Angelosanto each had a double pinochle. Upcoming events include the Council Party of Jan. 15 at Joey’s Comedy Club in Livonia. Winter Event is a night of feather bowling on Feb. 27 at the Cadieux Café, Detroit, the 74th TRI-V Anniversary at Hawthorne Valley Dinner Theatre, Westland and the TRI-V Florida Anniversary party on March 18. Pinochle scores through Jan. play had Robyn Mackson in first place with 102 points, Vickie Angelosanto and Jeff Trachsel tied for second place with 95.5 points and Mike Trachsel in fourth place with 94 points.

Presidents Message Liz and I would like to…

    Presidents Message
Liz and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in whatever fashion it is celebrated at your home this season. We pray for the health and safety for all our Tri V friends and their families.

I know we are trying to decide how to handle the upcoming holiday season as I’m sure many of you are also. We are trying to weigh the desire to celebrate Christmas and New Years with family and the possible risk of doing so. While we have not yet determined what we are going to do we do know that it is going to be unlike any holiday we have ever had.

We approach month 10 of this pandemic year we can hope that there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. The news of a vaccine on the horizon brings hope that some normalcy will be returning to our lives in the coming year.

JUST a REMINDER to everyone to please use the club paper, text messaging and calling list as much as possible to keep the club informed of anything happening within the Tri V family.

    President Jay Trachsel
