September proved to be a busy month for the Lardins. What started out to be an easy month medically changed quickly. It all started when it was necessary for John’s chemo being delayed a week because of his platelets count being too low. This was followed with a carted artery check with all good news. Then to the eye doctor to try to solve the problem with his eyes continuing to water. After several checks it was determined that the chemo had caused his tear ducts to be blocked and there was no guarantee that surgery would solve the problem. The Dr. did put a solution in each eye and John could feel the ducts open and the medicine get to his sinuses and drained. After two weeks it has helped though there is still some blockage. Judy and John did play a round of golf with Jan and Cal followed by dinner than a few games of marbles. A quiet enjoyable time by all. John continues to play golf on Friday at various courses with a group of 24 from various cities. Current plans call for Judy and John to go to Corpus Christi TX to celebrate granddaughter Christine 16th birthday. Judy and John have not missed a birthday in TX from day one and John was not going to let the virus stop him this year. John continues with the chemo every other week getting it on a Tuesday and getting a pump removed on Thursday. Has been over four years not. Hope all are well and stay safe and continue to pray for all your family, the TRI-V Family as well as all others in need of our prayers. THEY DO WORK!
