    Paper article

Wow, it must be something in the water as I often forget to do this. However, since I was out here. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! May the weather cooperate and give the kids and us a nice night to go out and trick or treat and socialize with neighbors, friends and family. We have been busy with school starting and being in full swing now. Octoberfest, a PTO driven event for the kids school was held and was a great success. Got a chance to experience a new restaurant for me (Matt) called Slurping Turtle. It is in Ann Arbor and it was great. Never thought I would eat at a place called Slurping Turtle, but… it is amazing how many times I say, if you would have told me at 10 that I would do ….. I love the process of growing up and having so many new experiences. I wish this for all of you as well.

MEMORIES FROM THE NOVEMBER 2009 ISUE OF TRI…

MEMORIES FROM THE NOVEMBER 2009 ISUE OF TRI-V UMPH
Ken Plocharczyk underwent cataract surgery on November 5th on his right eye and is scheduled to have the left eye done on November 11th. We ask you to remember Ken in your prayers for a complete recovery from the surgery. Jacqui and Jack Schaefer are thrilled to announce their son Mark, who lives in Indiana, is going to be a father in May. This will make number 5 grandchild for Jacqui and Jack. Bev and Mike Lardin are expecting their first child in June. This will make 11 grandchildren for Judy and John. Those traveling had Judy and John to Corpus Christi TX the middle of October to celebrate granddaughter’s Christine 5th birthday and upon their return making plans to return to TX to celebrate grandsons Jacob birthday the first part of December then plans for the three month stay in Ft. Myers FL. Thanksgiving will be a full house at the Lardins with Judy’s Mom, her sister and her sister’s family coming in to celebrate the holiday. There will be a full house of 20 for dinner. MEMORIES FROM THE NOVEMBER 2014 ISUE OF TRI-V UMPH
Once again everyone seemed to be in good health in November of 2014. The October stag was held on Friday, Oct. 24th at the Cadieux Café in Detroit with 11 people for dinner and two more for feather bowling. The November social to be held at the Schoolcraft College on November 15th, at Schoolcraft college theatre, proceeded by dinner at Aubree’s pizzeria and grill. The ladies Christmas luncheon will be held a CHAMPS Americana on Haggerty Road in Livonia. The Children’s Christmas party is scheduled for December 14 at Eddie Edgar Ice Arena in Livonia. Jan and Cal Cashman hosted November pinochle with Cal coming in first place with 27 points, Onallee in second with 26 points, and Jane in third place with 24.5 points. Pinochle scores through two months of play had Onallee in first place with 53 points, Cal in second place with 46 points and Brian Trachsel in third with 44 points. Judy and John Lardin made the annual October visit to Texas to visit Son and family and celebrate granddaughter’s 10th birthday. The trip was uneventful with the temperature and humidity in the mid 90’s. Larry and family will make it to Michigan for the Thanksgiving holiday, and then two weeks later Judy and John will be making a trip to Corpus Christi to celebrate grandson Jacob’s birthday as well as the Christmas holiday. Upon their return they will start making plans for the three month Florida trip. This is another time of the year that we again create new memories. This is also the time that we can discuss our own memories from years past. With the Thanksgiving/Christmas Season arriving take the time to share those hidden memories. Share them with each other. You might be surprised when sharing with others some of the details that have been forgotten. Until we see you next month in print, the Good Lord Willing, take care of one another.

THE LARDINS The month of October was like…

    THE LARDINS

The month of October was like the month of September starting out and ending with a trip to Caesars, Windsor CA with a lot more going on. We had the usual two trips for chemo at Beaumont, new upper and lower partials after three years without and a visit with the chemo Doctor with all reports being good. Add to that a long trip to Texas to celebrate granddaughters Christine 15th birthday and it was a full month. Add to that a formal weeding and marbles at the first part of the month and we ran out of days Considering all John did survive the month and now things will get busy with November and December ahead. John ask to remember all in the TRIV Family as well as friends in need of our prayers. THEY DO WORK.

THE LARDINS The month of September begins with…

    THE LARDINS
The month of September begins with Judy and John spending a night at the Windsor Casino returning home on Labor Day to enjoy a barbecue with friends from TRI-V. September also included blood work, chemo treatments and dental appointments for John. John and Judy both golfed a few times during September. Judy took her neighbors to airport to attend a black tie wedding in Washington DC. It was quite comical trying to get 4 adults, car seat with one year old, luggage and Judy as driver into car. When they returned, John drove the son’s car to airport and Judy picked up neighbors and John (much easier). They will be ending the month with another trip to Windsor spending one or two nights.
