On Saturday evening Jacqui Schaefer began experiencing headaches and pain between her shoulder blades. Overnight she was unable to use her legs and arms when she wanted to go to the bathroom. She was rushed to Providence Hospital. Stroke was ruled out and it was determined that it was a problem with her spine. Emergency surgery was performed to fuse the vertebrae between C-3 and T-1. During the surgery they discovered a tumor along the spine, The tumor was successfully removed. Jacqui is currently in ICU. This morning she is awake, alert and able to move her arms and toes. She still has a long ways to go. Please keep Jacqui and her family in your prayers.
